**Option 1: Post-commit hook (pushes after every commit)**

Which approach appeals to you? Option 2 is most responsive but needs fswatch. Option 3 is simpler but has up to 5-min delay.

More configurable, pairs with fswatch, but requires more setup.
**My original options were fine but more DIY.** The git-auto-sync tool is purpose-built for exactly this use case.

**What happened:**
- git-auto-sync installed fine
- Added ~/.claude to it fine
- But the daemon is failing to start (exit code 78: config error)
- I can't read the error log due to sandbox restrictions
**Options:**
1. You debug this yourself later (check `/usr/local/var/log/git-auto-sync-daemon.err.log`)
2. We abandon this and go with the simpler cron job option instead
3. You just remember to push from desktop manually for now
The cron job is less elegant but more reliable - it's just standard Unix stuff that won't have mystery config failures. Your call.
