# Experience of Agency in Social Networks **Opening (not a real abstract):** The Experience of Agency in Social Networks: An Embodied Perspective Social networks are still an under-explored object in philosophy. Until now, it has been other fields of research, such as sociology, communication, psychology and media studies that have taken the lead in their knowledge. However, I think philosophy can contribute to this subject. This paper aims to investigate the kind of experience elicited by social networks, proposing that it constitutes an experience of agency, namely an experience evoked by the interaction of the subject with the environment through actions. This perspective will be theoretically framed by an ecological theory of mind that emphasises the role of affordances and embodiment.
