## Message To Send
Subject: PAX 3 thermal/battery cut-out - warranty claim (purchased January 2023, authorised EU retailer)
Description:
My PAX 3 (purchased 7 January 2023 from MagicVaporizers / Anything Worldwide AB, an authorised European retailer - invoice IT186453, available on request) has developed a fault that makes it effectively unusable.
Symptom: the device powers on and heats to the selected temperature normally. After a few draws, it flashes blue lights and shuts itself off mid-session. Any attempt to turn it back on immediately produces the same blue flash sequence followed by an automatic shutdown. After leaving the device to rest for around 30 minutes, it will heat up again - but the cycle then repeats after a short period of use. This pattern is consistent regardless of starting battery level or temperature setting.
Steps already taken:
- Cleaned the device thoroughly, including oven, screens, mouthpiece, and charging contacts (isopropyl alcohol)
- Fully charged via the original charger
- Performed a factory reset
The fault persists and appears consistent with either a degraded battery cell or a thermal protection circuit fault. As the unit is well within the 10-year PAX 3 warranty period, I would like to open a warranty claim and would be grateful for your guidance on next steps for inspection or replacement.
Serial number: [enter the 8-10 character code etched inside the oven lid]
