# [[Environmental Aesthetics]] One idea that seemed interesting to me is that VR allows for emersion in an environment that they know is *authored* . As far as I know no one working in analytic [[environmental aesthetics]] seems to think that a belief in an author, God, or *pretending* there's an author figures much in our [[aesthetic appreciation]] of the natural world . I'd be surprised if this didn't turn up in [[environmental aesthetics]] from a religious perspective . There have been various ways of trying flesh out how we aesthetically appreciate nature.
