Here's an aspect of experience that I've always found interesting. [[The experience]] of understanding. So this can be fairly mundane stuff like that click when you understand a joke or a phrase in a foreign language or a revelation in a movie. You get big clicks as well There is something it is like to get it. - By which I mean simply that it *feels* like something to understand: [something something] I tell you a joke, you don't laugh, then it clicks, and you still don't laugh. Although I don't hear that click on the outside, and so don't think you've got the joke, you experienced it mentally. - - or realise how a magic trick is performed, or get a joke. -
